Communication Solutions

The range of communication solutions include the development and marketing of interactive voice applications and Internet-based communication solutions.

Load- and availability tests using "audio crowd-sourcing"

For the accomplishment of load- and availability tests for carriers and providers of telecommunication services C4 breaks new ground.
Instead of depending on a complex technical infrastructure for load generation as customary so far, we use our "audio crowd-sourcing” principle which was developed by us in-house. Here the requested load or the amount of incoming calls will not be generated using a server but will be generated shifting it to a cloud that offers a scalable and centrally-controlled testing group. The testing group is equipped with either mobile phones or with softphones, which load the systems to be tested according to individually configurable rules. This procedure does not only ensure a very real scenario, but also a highly differentiated evaluability of the tests performed; it ensures as well an excellent scalability, test runs that are individually adaptable and furthermore cost–effective.
On the threshold of classic carrier networks and traditional technologies to NGNs (Next Generation Networks) and IP-based infrastructure for the operation of telecommunication services, it is of major importance to test the new systems under real conditions, define load limits and prove sustainable stability even at high traffic volume rates before changings to alternative technologies. Furthermore the virtualization of PBX and telephony-based services, as well as call centers or downstream processes, play an increasingly important role. Offering a high verifiable availabilty, load continuity, and stable business operation – with virtualized systems, it is possible to achieve huge cost savings while maintaining the same or even a higher quality level.

 

Payment Systems

The billing for internet, mobile or language (digital) goods is the focus of the C4 system performance portfolio. Even the number and choice of payment methods have a significant impact on the success of supply and advertising.
